Itinerary

After collection from your hotel or cruise ship we travel south of Sydney past world famous Botany Bay as you start your journey to The Shire. Access to the Sutherland Shire is via the magnificent coastline on the Grand Pacific Drive and is home to the historic Royal National Park, Cronulla Coast and Wollongong City.

Our first stop is at the award winning Symbio Wildlife Park where we will get to enjoy a morning with some of Australia's most unique and well known wildlife. Enjoy a very close encounter and hands on experience with our wildlife.  We will get to see sleepy Koalas that spend most of their day perched precariously in trees, taking time out of their eighteen hour respite to occasionally chew on the eucalyptus leaves, and meet other Australian residents such as Kangaroos and Emus.

Our next stop is morning tea at Stanwell Tops Lookout, a popular hang-gliding take off point, where you may just get to see the locals in action as they swoop out over the Tasman Sea.  Our journey continues through the Royal National Park which is the second oldest national park in the world, offering spectacular scenery from sub tropical rain forests and sandstone heath lands, to dramatic coastal cliffs and unspoiled ocean beaches, stopping at the old dance hall in Audley.

After our stop in the Royal National Park we travel to Cronulla for lunch and a stroll along the beach.  Cronulla is derived from kurranulla, meaning ''place of the pink sea shells'' in the dialect of the area's Aboriginal inhabitants.

Rejoining our guide and transport, we make our way to Bass & Flinders Point with spectacular views over Port Hacking and Bundeena. From here we make our way to Hazelhurst Gallery to view the latest exhibitions from local artists. Our final stop of the day is the National Camellia Gardens where you can enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the gardens and recharge with afternoon tea before departing for your hotel or cruise ship.
