Itinerary
Depart your city hotel this morning and travel in luxury 4WD's from the centre
of Sydney across the Sydney Harbour Bridge, through exclusive garden suburbs, past the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games site before enjoying morning tea with wild kangaroos deep in the Australian bush. See
kangaroos up close plus friendly parrots and cockatoos. In the high Blue Mountains today you will see waterfalls, magnificent canyons and Australia's remarkable three sisters.
Travel back country
4WD tracks leading to amazing lookouts that only our modified, small group's vehicle can access. Departing Anvil Rock, continue on to your luncheon venue at Mountain Heritage, lovely country house with a
great view on the valley. Enjoy a delicious, complete Aussie 'country' style lunch.
This afternoon visit the thrilling railway in Katoomba. Ride the steepest passengers railway in the world (ride
entry is at own expense), or enjoy short walks to nearby lookouts. Mid afternoon, overnight passengers picked up/dropped off at Katoomba hotels. On our return to Sydney we follow one of the
original trails of the first explorers to cross the Blue Mountains, arriving this afternoon at award winning Featherdale wildlife park.
At the park you'll see koalas and kangaroos up close plus a friendly Dingo, Australia's famous native 'dog'. You can even take a close-up photo as you pat the friendly koalas.
After experiencing all the animals rejoin your luxury 4 WD's for the final return to your hotel. This is an outstanding day of sightseeing, wildlife and
great Aussie hospitality.
