Itinerary
Discover the real Tasmania on our VIP cruise to Peppermint Bay aboard a 23
metre catamaran. The vessel is warm, luxurious and fast, offering a unique and comfortable way to explore the bays of south east Tasmania.
This VIP option offers you an exclusive area, hosted by
the Captain on the upper deck. Luxurious leather seating, private viewing areas and complimentary tea and coffee make the trip all the more special.
Located just a short walk from the cruise
ship, the tour departs from Sullivan's Cove in Hobart. The cruise traverses the Harbour, the River Derwent and the magnificent waters of the d'Entrecasteaux Channel, on its way to Peppermint Bay.
Upon boarding the boat the experienced crew will show you to your exclusive seating on the top Captains deck. Plenty of room to relax in the comfortable leather seating. The crew will provide an
informative commentary as you pass many significant sights.
The state-of-the-art underwater 'Spy Ball' camera, will allow you see what life is like in the waters of the Tinderbox Marine Reserve
without getting wet! See giant kelp forests, crayfish, stingrays and myriad other fish species!
Arriving at picturesque Peppermint Bay, a short walk brings you to the restaurant where you can enjoy a set menu three course banquet style meal over looking the water, featuring
the best ingredients the region has to offer.
After lunch there is time for a short walk to explore Peppermint Bay and the little seaside village of Woodbridge, perhaps taking the sculpture trail
along the foreshore to walk of your meal.
Back on board the catamaran, we head north to return to Hobart, following the same route made by yachtsman every year in the famous Sydney to Hobart yacht
race, passing under the Tasman Bridge which signals the end of your day on the water.
